According to recent news, BDS has added Microsoft to the priority list, and it is part of the strategy to affect Israel’s war efforts. After the revelation of the fact that it is using artificial intelligence and other cloud services for an effective role in the war.
The Palestinian BDS National Committee has posted the official statement:
Microsoft partners with the apartheid regime of Israel and its prison system. It provides the Israeli military with Azure cloud and AI services that are central to accelerating Israel’s genocide of 2.3 million Palestinians in the illegally occupied Gaza Strip. After 34 years of deep complicity with Israel’s military, the Israeli army relies heavily on Microsoft to meet the technological requirements of its genocide and apartheid regime.
Palestinian BDS Boycott on Best Xbox Games
The international Palestine BDS movement is calling on the people to cancel the game pass subscription and avoid the best Xbox products and other gaming options from the house of Microsoft in the protest. The company is reported as the business with the Israeli military promoting their genocide.
Microsoft is the leading software, hardware, and cloud company, working as an American multinational technology company providing services since 1975. With its several products and services, the company is generating large revenue and investing in multiple projects.
The recent news on the company’s AI and cloud formation in the Israeli military operation since October 2023 has changed the mindset of different gamers and players, and organizations like Palestine BDS have strictly added the best Xbox games and other Microsoft products to the boycott list. Not only this, but Microsoft is also involved in the large surveillance data processing used during the war.
